We often seek to find what makes us the same. But what makes us different?
We all have differences. Different color eyes, different personalities, and different belief systems, yet there's one thing we all share, and that, my friend, is a beating heart.
We all know what hate can lead to, we have studied it, read about it and seen it with our eyes - but let us stop and think, what does love lead to?
It leads to loving others no matter the differences between us and to peace between ourselves and our neighbors. To a safer and better world and ultimately to the realization that the only way to eradicate hate is with love.
We are all uniquely different and that is what is important; when we respect each other's differences, that what makes the world a better place. When we love each other in spite of our differences it is ok to have differences of opinions. You don't need to be like me, believe like me or think like me for me to love and respect you for being you.
Our common goal is to make the world a better place for all of us to live in and to spread the light of love. Just like a flame which no matter how many candles you light, it will keep shining!
