Have you ever seen true strength? Have you ever seen a nurse at work? Have you ever felt the care and devotion of a total stranger who is completely dedicated and committed to helping people and caring for them?
From washing to drawing blood, and to serving their patience dinner, whatever the case its always with a smile - this is true strength.
Nurses are angels dressed in uniform who fill other people's lives with hope, comfort, and care. They are the ones who you can count on when you're unsure, when you're worried and when you receive good news. They devote their lives to saving other people's lives - they give people the courage to go on.
Their work often goes unnoticed by people who don't know what they do but a patient never forgets. To the extent that many people who have experienced their care have been inspired to become nurses and continue the cycle of giving kindness, they got to others. Always with an extra dose of compassion.
They are not in it for the fame, or the honor, or the glory; their reward is when their smile is met with a smile.
Let's keep the kindness going, will you give these heroes the respect they deserve?
so true!! i think nurses are fab!!! was visiting a patient in hospital recently and the total care, devotion and friendliness the nurse was showing impressed me so much!!!
