Daddy's Love

"It's admirable for a man to take his son fishing, but there is a special place in heaven for the father who takes his daughter shopping."

- John Sinor

Do you remember the time your dad watched you as you rode your bike alone for the first time, or when he taught you how to make your very own omelette without burning it and wondered why he was doing so?

He did it because it made his daughter happy. And if it makes his daughter happy, it makes him happy. The thing which makes a dad most proud is when his daughter is proud of him. The relationship between a father and a daughter is something sacred, something special.

The time spent together is the fuel that'll keep her going for years to come. Her daddy's strength and belief in her will make her invincible - like she can conquer the world.

Starting from very young, when he stood up for her in the playground, to when he held her in his big arms until the thunder stopped and she felt safe again or when he stayed up till the wee hours of the morning talking about the meaning of life; it never ends. With each moment spent together, with each accomplishment, the bond gets stronger.

The time, effort and love of your dad is what will carry you forever.
When you look back at your accomplishments, how far were you able to fly only because of the strong wings your father gave you?

  1. It’s a nice idea, theoretically.
Not everyone has such memories with their dad.

    1. You're 100% correct. The point of this post is show everyone how even if you don't think so highly of your dad (and you wish you had a different one!), there are many things that you do today because of him. It may mean that because of how you were treated, you make sure to act better to other people.
Think about it. Waiting to hear your thoughts. Much love!

  4. So true that what a woman accomplishes can many times be traced back to her daddy's love for her as a little child.

  5. My father has been my backbone ever since i know myself. He always tried to acknowledge my challenges and learn more to help me. He gave me lots of help for high school so that I was able to graduate and get my diploma. A lot of my successes were because of what he did for me!!!!
